I obtained a bachelor degree at the Free University of Bruxelles (Belgium) in musicology minor in philosophy, a second bachelor at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in writing music, and I’m currently studying Applied Music for the Screen at the Conservatory of Mons (Belgium).
During the last years I had a few experiences composing the music for film schools, and recently I was very happy to compose the music for a french documentary Estate Di Marmo (2023), and also a short belgian independant movie Au Suivant (2024). As an additional composer, thanks to the composer Thomas Foguenne, I recently composed musics for taiwanese projects such as the documentary Foca (2024). In 2023 I had the opportunity to follow for a few days Michelino Bisceglia in various projects in Belgium. I had the chance to see him work as an orchestrator for the composer Eloi Ragot, and also directing an orchestra at the Galaxy Studio and the Dada Studio.
I have always been fascinated by the dramaturgic, artistic and emotional effect that combining the music with the screen have together.
The passion for film music started as a child with the work of Alan Menken for the Disney movies, Hans Zimmer for The Lion King and Jerry Goldsmith for Mulan. Today I’m listening carefully to emerging composers such as Cristobal Tapia de Veer (for his work for The White Lotus), Anthony Willis (for his work for Saltburn), Jerskin Fendrix (for his work for Poor Things), and the team of Bleeding Fingers Music (who did an incredible work for Frozen Planet II with the singer Aurora).
